William A. Van Horn, MD, the founder and medical director of Way Treatment Center, is a Diplomat of The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with over 30 years of experience as an expert in the treatment of neuropsychiatric illness. He completed his fellowship in Geriatric Neuropsychiatry at Emory University. Caring for patients and supporting families in crises is his passion.
As a neuropsychiatrist, Dr. Van Horn has extensive experience treating a broad range of illness ranging from ADHD in children to geriatric patients with advanced Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Van Horn has experienced the transition of his field, once fully embracing the humanity of patients consisting of a dynamic interaction between brain, mind and spirit, to a limited and detrimental approach of emphasizing medication as the primary solution. Way Treatment Center was founded to offer a proven, effective pathway to ensure all aspects of your needs are fully addressed: medical, emotional, relational, and spiritual. His commitment is to excellence in neuropsychiatric treatment, resolution of emotional wounds, and restoration of true value and love in your relationships. Ultimately, your life will be transformed to one saturated with the peace, joy and love that God created you to experience.
