A physician-directed, comprehensive evaluation designed to provide clarity about memory, concentration, and overall brain health.
Who This Evaluation Is For: This evaluation is appropriate for adults and older adults who have concerns about memory loss, changes in concentration, mental clarity, or cognitive efficiency. It is particularly helpful for individuals who want to understand whether cognitive changes represent normal aging, reversible contributors, or early signs of cognitive impairment.
What Makes This Evaluation Different: Unlike brief screening tests or routine psychiatric visits, this evaluation is intentionally designed to be deep, thoughtful, and integrative. It combines structured cognitive testing with detailed clinical analysis to understand how medical, emotional, sleep-related, and lifestyle factors influence cognitive function.
What the Evaluation Includes: The evaluation includes an extensive review of medical and cognitive history, in-depth cognitive and psychological testing across multiple domains, physician-level interpretation, and a dedicated feedback session. Attention is given to memory, attention, executive function, processing speed, language, and visuospatial abilities.
What You Will Walk Away With: Patients receive a clear explanation of findings, a diagnostic formulation when appropriate, and practical recommendations focused on protecting and optimizing brain health. When possible, strategies are provided to address reversible contributors and slow cognitive decline. A written summary and personalized plan are included.
Time Commitment & Cost: The comprehensive Memory & Cognitive Evaluation represents approximately 3–4 hours of total professional time, including preparation, testing, interpretation, and feedback. It is separate from routine neuropsychiatric care and is not required for ongoing psychiatric treatment. The total cost is $1,000.
This evaluation is educational and clinical in nature and is designed to empower individuals and families with understanding, clarity, and direction regarding cognitive health.
